THE UNDERWATER SOIL EROSION INFLUENCE ON CROSSING THE WATER STREAMS GAS PIPELINES STRESS-STRAIN STATE (SSS)

Abstract

Insufficient consideration of migration riverbeds in the design solutions, failure to fully design solutions in the construction leads to such phenomena as erosion of the riverbed, which affects on attitude of the gas pipeline, and the existing standard literature is not alloy to determine these changes. Considered earlier girder-rod model of transitions do not give a complete picture of the tension and displacement section of main gas pipeline. Special role played by the frictional force at the section of the main gas pipeline, which is currently explore insufficiently. The present level of development of numerical methods of continuum mechanics and processing power of computer technology provide an opportunity for the development of methods for nonlinear analysis of the strength of tubing in consideration of the characteristics of their design and external environment. The mathematical finite element models of underwater gas pipeline crossing a water flow at the start of exploitation and at present time are discussed in the article. Displacements of pipe section and stresses are defined in a various formulation of the boundary conditions. The changing displacements dependence on the value of pipeline penetration is revealed. The study was conducted with applying of ANSYS software package considering recommendations of researchers studying SSS-pipelines.
