Abstract

The C60 fullerene derivatives with oxime moieties are prospective as complexation agents, biologically active compounds and precursors for the synthesis of new fullerene adducts with tunable properties. There are no data on the complex compounds of the C60 fullerene oximes with ion metals. At the same time, other fullerene-metal derivatives have unique properties rather different from those of the pristine fullerenes with organic addend. Therefore, in the present work we have studied the influence of the fullerene core on the ability of the oxime moiety to act as a ligand. For the first time, formation of complexes of a new synthesized fullerene oxime bis[9-hydroxo]-1-[1'-hydroximino-2'-oxo-2'-alkyl-ethyl])-1,9-dyhydro-[С60- Ih ][5,6]fullerene with Ni(II) and Cu(II) ions in ethanol has been studied by1H NMR and UV-IR spectrophotometry.
