Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the language picture of the world in contemporary German legal discourse. The means of the contemporary German language for establishing and leading optional variants of their use in the conceptual organization of law as one of the forms of social and regulatory texts are analyzed. It has been established that linguistic realization in the laws of such concepts as “judgment”, “law”, “punishment”, “traffic accident” are characterized by trends to standardization and by lack of expression. In the course of the study, it is revealed that the presentation of conceptual and thematic content the considered texts is characterized by two opposing tendencies: on the one hand, by the brevity and conciseness of presentation and, on the other hand, by the use of complex hypotactic-paratactical complexes that comprise from two to five structural types of sentences.
